Apr 12, 2021

JSL Global, member to the Worldwide Project Consortium (WWPC) for Qatar, handled a prestigious job to transport 490 cbm of heavy steel structures for a FIFA World cup 2022 stadium. The shipment was moved onboard a breakbulk vessel from Lianyungang Port, China and JSL Global handled it from Hamad port, Qatar on indirect delivery using port MAFIs  and heavy low bed trailers.

As this shipment was for one of the FIFA stadiums ongoing work jobsite restriction in receiving cargo had to be considered carefully. It required immense planning between several parties including customs, port authorities, crane operators, traffic department, stadium authorities and other participants in the logistics chain.
