Industry leader responds to Convoy closure

Oct 20, 2023

Today is another hard day for our industry with the closure of Convoy; our hearts go out to the 500 employees who lost their jobs today without any severance. This is the second industry giant this year to leave the market with reports that we will see more of this before the end of the year.

Trailer Bridge’s President of Logistics Eric Masotti, who has more than 20 years in the industry, shared the news with his teams across the US and encouraged them to remain vigilant in this ‘freight recession.’ Thankfully, Trailer Bridge has experienced a 30% increase in loads year-over-year which Masotti credits to the company’s focus on service and relationships.
