IBA expands team to strengthen ESG offering

Oct 13, 2022

IBA, the leading aviation market intelligence and consultancy company, is strengthening its ESG offering with the appointment of Jeni Stanley as ESG Manager.

Stanley joins IBA having previously worked in financial services for 13 years at Invesco, one of the UK’s leading asset managers. Having commenced her career in client services and project management, she then specialised in ESG reporting, with responsibility for developing reports at product and institutional client level, using a range of quantitative and qualitative data.

Ian Beaumont, CEO of IBA, says: “We’re thrilled to welcome Jeni to the IBA. With her experience and commitment, we know she will be a valuable addition to our team, and we look forward to the positive impact Jeni’s work will have on the breadth of ESG solutions IBA offers to airlines, lessors and financial institutions.”

IBA helps airlines monitor and report their emissions and compare them against the industry, and partners with lessors to monitor their aircraft portfolio's carbon footprint and evaluate how it compares against industry peers. IBA can also forecast scenarios based on future fleet profiles taking into account use of Sustainable Aviation fuels.

It provides ESG ratings for airlines, scoring them according to environmental criteria, social factors and governance standards. In contrast to other ESG ratings providers, IBA's ranking is exclusively focused on providing the highest quality evaluation specifically for the aviation sector, thus establishing the industry benchmark.

Jeni Stanley says: “I find the development of ESG and the approach to sustainability compelling both professionally and personally, and look forward to working with the team at IBA to deliver ESG consultancy that makes a tangible difference to organisations across the aviation sector.”
