IANA congratulates Administration, freight railroads and unions on reaching tentative agreements

The Intermodal Association of North America applauds the efforts of the Biden Administration, the railroads, and the unions who worked so diligently to reach this tentative labor agreement averting a potential strike in advance of Friday’s deadline. The intermodal industry would like to thank the dedicated work of the National Mediation Board, Secretary of Labor Marty Walsh, Secretary of Transportation Pete Buttigieg, and Secretary of Agriculture Tom Vilsack for their skilled leadership and dedication in reaching these settlements.
