Heavy lift milestone at Port of Klaipeda

On Saturday, June 14th, 3P Logistics Industrial Projects team successfully discharged a Siemens power transformer weighing 103.5 metric tons (228178 lbs) and accessories at the Port of Klaipeda (KKT Terminal), Lithuania. This is now the heaviest single project cargo ever handled in the 20-year history of 3P Logistics Industrial Projects.

The unit arrived from China by sea and marks Stage 1 of a delivery to a Vestas wind farm at Akmene, LT site. The transformer was unloaded using 500 tons Liebherr crane.
