Hartsfield-Jackson 2023 “Best Airport over 40 Million Passengers in North America” Award

Mar 12, 2024

The passengers have spoken. Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport (ATL) was once again recognized for providing a superior customer experience, earning the 2023 Airport Service Quality (ASQ) Award for Best Airport in North America (By Size and Region - over 40 million passengers). This award recognizes the airports with the top 20% overall satisfaction score from passengers by size and region at departure. Hartsfield-Jackson previously won Best Airport by Size and Region ASQ Awards in 2021 as well as in 2022.

The Airports Council International (ACI) ASQ initiative is unique as the aviation industry’s only global benchmarking program measuring passenger satisfaction while passengers are at the airport. The ASQ program delivers an in-depth assessment of the quality of the customer service experience based on data collected from ASQ departure and arrival surveys.

“This recognition represents the hard work of our entire Airport team who strive to deliver a best-in-class experience for our passengers each day,” said ATL General Manager Balram “B” Bheodari. “We are thankful to Airports Council International for this recognition and for their work in capturing the voice of our customers.”

Launched in 2006, ASQ is the world’s leading airport passenger satisfaction program with over 400 participating airports in 109 countries. ACI World’s annual ASQ Awards recognize airport excellence in customer experience worldwide based on data from ASQ’s renowned Departures and Arrivals Surveys.
