Freight Right, a fast-growing freight forwarder selected Chain.io to provide cross-platform visibility for its customers on the Freightos Marketplace.
The scale at which both Freight Right and Freightos operate can no longer be managed through traditional communication methods. This partnership allows for real-time status and milestone updates including seamless document transfer between the parties.
The Freightos project is just one of many integrations that make up Freight Right’s quiet and steady move towards more tech-enabled customer experience.
“We see the need for connectivity in almost every action we take as logisticians. The process improvement never stops. But we are not trying to be a software company. We are a logistics company and our calling is shipping freight. Chain.io does not simply expose our shipment data to our customers. It is essentially a gateway to data that has been, until now hidden from the shippers. Our carriers, vendors, agents, and software partners have all been diligently innovating for years. Chain.io brings all of this together for us so that we can concentrate on what we do best, which is delivering freight," says Robert Khachatryan, CEO of Freight Right
Brian Glick, Chain.io’s founder and CEO, adds, “At Chain.io, we’re big believers that the future of forwarding is seamless connectivity across a range of online and offline sales channels. Supporting Freight Right by adding Freightos marketplace connectivity to our platform is a huge win for all parties involved.”
The scope of the Freight Right Group and Chain.io relationship will encompass connecting Freight Right’s core operating system with global partners including agents, software tools, and customer systems.
