Driver Graham earns top honor as President’s Award winner at USA Truck Stars of Safety Celebration Safe Professionals

USA Truck, Inc., a leading capacity solutions provider headquartered in Van Buren, AR, has named Efren Landin, Truckload Company Driver of the Year for 2019, Thomas Anderson as Dedicated Company Driver of the Year for 2019, and Daryll Black IC Driver of the Year for 2019. Landin, Anderson, and Black were among a select group of company drivers and independent contractors honored for their exemplary performance during USA Truck’s Stars of Safety Celebration held March 6 at the Choctaw Casino Resort in Pocola, OK.

USA Truck presented each Driver of the Year with a grand prize. Landin and Anderson were presented with a check and will receive custom graphics for their current tractors. Black, the Independent Contractor winner, received the cash equivalent of a destination getaway for two plus the cash equivalent of one week’s settlement.
Friday nights honors also included 2019 Fuel Efficient Drivers of the Year for Truckload and Dedicated divisions. Truckload recognized Robert Bowerman Jr, and the Dedicated award went to Mike Barnes. Xiaoxing Zhang was recognized as the 2019 Trainer of the Year.
During Friday’s festivities, USA Truck welcomed eight new inductees into the company’s Mileage Milestone Club, which brings the total membership to 89. This elite group is comprised of USA Truck driving team members who have logged one million or more safe miles. The company also recognized six drivers moving up in milestone levels.
Additionally, Barton Graham earned the company’s highest honor in receiving the 3rd Annual President’s Award. USA Truck CEO James Reed stated, “Barton stands for everything we strive for here at USA Truck. This company was founded on the tradition of American ideals and hardworking values, and I am honored to celebrate his daily example of our values. The recognition of every one of our honorees at this event is one of my favorite official duties. Barton himself has driven over three million safe miles, and this group collectively represents over 100 million miles of safe, accident-free miles driven.We rely on great professionals like them to get the real work of trucking done and are delighted to honor their dedicated service and commitment to their families, our company, and to being safe professionals.  They are truly the best of the best!”
