DHL supply chain topples 2020’s record-setting volumes with 15% eCommerce network growth this peak season

DHL Supply Chain, the global and North American contract logistics leader within Deutsche Post DHL Group and largest U.S. eCommerce network, capitalized on the booming e-commerce phenomenon by processing 3 million orders with 11+ million items shipped during the 7-day time period between Black Friday (Nov. 26) and Dec. 3.  Peak day demand during that week was nearly 14 times higher than the average day. Additionally, 99.98 percent of orders were processed within promised service levels.
