COVID-19 Update: Suspended operations at Port of Houston Terminals

Mar 19, 2020

The Port of Houston has shut down its Barbours Cut and Bayport Container Terminals, following an ILA worker's positive test for COVID-19 (i.e., the coronavirus). The employee worked at both terminals. Other public facilities at the port remain operational, including the Houston Ship Channel and more than 200 private terminals. A reopening date hasn't been announced yet, and additional information regarding vessel schedules, demurrage, and operations will be provided soon.

If you have specific questions regarding a shipment, please contact the Deringer service center managing your account.
