Cosmatos Shipping Services delivered windmill towers and transformers for Greece

Cosmatos Shipping Services, members of the Worldwide Project Consortium (WWPC) for Greece, recently completed the deliveries of windmill towers, transformers parts and their accessories at Thessaloniki Port.

A total of 45 windmill towers, 2 transformers and 32 packages with accessories arrived by ocean vessel and required safe and on time discharging.

The windmill towers had dimensions as below :

1xL x W x H 7.4×2.6×3.6 ,71t

Cosmatos Shipping took care of the ship’s husbandry, the unwelding and unlashing operations, the stevedoring and cranage as well as part of import customs formalities.

The company also arranged for the temporary storage of the main transformer at the Port open area as well as the accessories to a covered area.
