Jul 06, 2022

ConMet (Consolidated Metco, Inc.) announces its recognition for a Supplier Excellence award of Navistar, Inc., a commercial transportation solutions provider with a vision to accelerate the impact of sustainable mobility. ConMet was awarded Navistar’s Gold Performance award, which recognizes excellence across quality, delivery, cost and continuous improvement.

“This award recognizes the hard work and perseverance of every ConMet employee, from operational excellence to relentless customer support,” said John Waters, President, ConMet. “I am extremely proud of each and every person at ConMet and we look forward to many more years of shared success.”

The 2022 Navistar Supplier Excellence Awards recognize suppliers from all around the world in a variety of industries including freight and engineering services, electronics, powertrain and chassis components, and advanced safety systems. In 2022, Navistar updated its Supplier Excellence award categories to include Performance Awards, which honors suppliers for excellence in quality, delivery and cost, and Leadership Awards in five subcategories: quality, innovation, customer service, general procurement and logistics.

“As Navistar focuses on our vision to accelerate the impact of sustainable mobility, we want to honor suppliers who value and recognize the importance of contributing to a sustainable future,” said Sajid Kunnummal, chief procurement officer, Navistar.

ConMet has been a trusted supplier to Navistar for over 25 years, supplying wheel ends, plastic components, and castings. Most recently, ConMet was recognized by Navistar with their Diamond Supplier Award in 2019 and 2020.
