CMA CGM Low Water Surcharge in Manaus, Brazil effective September 25th

CMA CGM informs that the navigability conditions on the Amazon River are not showing improvement.

Therefore, the Low Water Surcharge (LWS) applicable to all cargo from/to Manaus, Brazil is revised as follows:

Effective September 25th, 2023

(October 5th, 2023 for US, US territories, Colombia, Paraguay, Uruguay, Panama, Venezuela, Argentina, Ecuador with amount set at USD 750 per TEU, then USD 1,100 from October 25th, 2023)

  • Port: Manaus, Brazil
  • Perimeter: Import/Export
  • Cargo: all
  • Amount: USD 1,100 per TEU
  • Settlement: As per freight
