Global air charterer reports successful conversion for international rugby competition fans and players

Chapman Freeborn has reported the successful completion of a series of supporter and team charter flights in support of the recent Six Nations Rugby Championship.

The air charter broker completed the transport of over 2,000 rugby fans across Europe, in addition to one of the Six Nations’ rugby team’s players and staff.

"Chapman Freeborn has over five decades of experience safely transporting sports fans and players around the globe,” said Andy Hutchinson, Director of Passenger Charters - UK.

"The successful execution of these charter operations, involving eight airline partners, underscores our commitment to providing reliable, efficient, and tailored air travel solutions for both large groups and specialized needs."

Chapman Freeborn collaborated with a total of eight different airline partners including Fly4, Ascend, Jet2, Smartwings, Albastar, Voltea, Trade Air, and BA CityFlyer to meet the varying demands of the tournament’s schedule.

This comes amidst a period of confident European expansion for the air charterer following the launch of a European music and entertainment division, and the opening of new operations bases in France and Lithuania.
