Awery’s Balan wins TIACA Rising Star Award

Anna Balan, Head of CargoBooking, Awery Aviation Software (Awery) has received the Rising Star Award from The International Air Cargo Association (TIACA) at the TIACA Executive Summit 2026 in Warsaw, Poland.

The award recognises individuals under the age of 35 who demonstrate excellence, innovation, inspiration, and significant contribution to their organisation and the wider air cargo industry.

“Anna exemplifies the next generation of leaders who are shaping the future of air cargo through innovation, collaboration, and a commitment to solving real industry challenges,” said Glyn Hughes, Director General, The International Air Cargo Association.

The TIACA Rising Star Award is presented to professionals who are considered future leaders of the air cargo sector and who have made a notable contribution to advancing the industry.

The award was presented during the TIACA Executive Summit as part of the association’s annual recognition programme celebrating excellence, innovation, and leadership across the global air cargo community.
