Atlantic Handling Systems and the Blau & Berg Company become newest members of Circulate NJ

Feb 04, 2025

Circulate NJ today announced that Atlantic Handling Systems and The Blau & Berg Company are the newest members of the coalition. They join Circulate NJ’s actively expanding list of 35+ member organizations, with representation from all sectors of the logistics industry—which encompasses the Transportation, Logistics and Distribution (TLD) industries that fuel our supply chain—including port workers, warehouses, retail developers, trucking companies, and more.

“We are excited to have Atlantic Handling Systems and The Blau & Berg Company as the newest members of the Circulate NJ team,” said David Greek, Chair of Circulate NJ and Managing Partner of Greek Real Estate Partners. “Each brings unique expertise and vast experience in logistics. This institutional knowledge will be incredibly helpful in our efforts to educate the public on the importance of New Jersey’s logistics industry.”

Atlantic Handling Systems is based in Fair Lawn and its employees have been designing, supplying and servicing all types of material handling equipment for over 40 years. Atlantic Handling Systems provides customers in a wide range of industries with supply chain solutions. They are one of the largest suppliers of material handling equipment in the Northeast.

The Blau & Berg Company, based in Short Hills, has held a leading position in the New Jersey and Tri-State commercial real estate market since 1932. They are an independent, full- service commercial real estate brokerage firm providing services in the industrial, retail and office spaces, including: site selection, acquisitions, dispositions, leasing, tenant representation, portfolio sales, asset repositioning, and property & construction consulting.

Circulate NJ’s wide-ranging coalition members are driving economic growth and success in towns across the state. Data from the New Jersey Department of Labor & Workforce Development shows the numerous benefits the TLD industry provides New Jersey, including:

  • Supporting more than 400,000 jobs
  • Employing 12% of the state’s private work force and providing 12.7% of New Jersey private sector wages
  • Providing an average $75,000 annual industry salary
  • Contributing $62.5 billion, or 10%, to New Jersey’s overall GDP

Circulate NJ’s members have also taken the lead in environmental cleanup of brownfield sites. These hazardous locations often cost millions to rehabilitate and make usable for the public. Circulate NJ’s members have taken the initiative to clean up and reuse these sites across New Jersey, from Jersey City to Lower Alloways Creek and points in between.

Additional coalition members will be announced in the coming weeks and months.
