Jul 28, 2025

A2Z Drone Delivery, Inc., an American aerospace and engineering company advancing commercial unmanned aerial vehicles, today announced it has expanded its executive leadership team with the appointment of Niklas Jung as Head of Strategy & Operations. Bringing extensive commercial UAV expertise in both manufacturing and service operations, Nik will help lead A2Z Drone Delivery’s expansion of partnerships worldwide.

Nik brings more than a decade of drone industry experience to the company. His years of expertise in standing up commercial drone operations on multiple continents is unique in the unmanned aerial services market. Nik has also spent several years evaluating OEM drone manufacturers as he guided Skyports Drone Services to become one of the industry’s most-trusted service partners pushing the boundaries of unmanned aerial services in drone logistics, inspection, and surveillance. As a trained electrical engineer, Nik also has years of hands-on experience designing and building UAV hardware, which continues to educate his approach to customer project management and business development.

“Nik brings an attractive combination of skills to our growing executive team, with a rarely seen balance of manufacturing and operations achievements that will help us continue to scale as the next phase of commercial drone services launching around the world,” said Aaron Zhang, CEO and Founder of A2Z Drone Delivery. “His unique vision for the integrated future of unmanned aerial services and its supporting drone infrastructure will certainly be a great value to our worldwide customers seeking to take advantage of the amazing value unlocked by drone delivery and UAV-born services.”

Based in Singapore, Nik joins A2Z Drone Delivery’s growing Torrance, C.A., team at a unique time that sees the technology provider expanding its offerings from commercial drone delivery platforms to also include an entire ecosystem for autonomous beyond-visual-line-of-sight (BVLOS) operations with its patented A2Z AirDocks . The combination of the company’s purpose-built commercial drone platforms and its automated drone charging stations is opening new opportunities for drone service providers, enterprise companies, and government entities around the world to launch ever-present drone services and last-mile drone delivery across virtually unlimited ranges of operation.

“For the last five years, I’ve been leading the selection of new drone service use cases, and strategically standing up those services with some of the industry’s most cutting-edge hardware and software tools,” said Nik. “As the commercial drone industry is verging on another great expansion, I see A2Z Drone Delivery’s one-of-a-kind multi-mission UAV ecosystem as a potentially world-leading step among OEMs; and I’m excited for the opportunity and challenge to lead the company into this next phase.”

Nik joining the company comes as A2Z Drone Delivery enters a new phase of growth. Initially, a technology provider for commercial drone service providers and enterprise drone delivery operators, the company now also partners with enterprise and governmental entities to build the drone infrastructure that will power future aerial economies.

“Nik has a deep understanding of how our end customers operate, including the challenges they will face and the solutions to those challenges, which will be invaluable as we expand our global partnerships. From developing the necessary documentation for EASA and FAA compliance, to streamlining our training and support division, to improving our integrated software stack and user interfaces, Nik’s expertise will be indispensable as we enter this next phase of growth,” said Zhang.
