ZIM launches ZIM Central China Xpress (ZX2) - A new premium service connecting China and Los Angeles

ZIM Integrated Shipping Services Ltd. (ZIM) today announced the launch of a new premium service, ZIM Central China Xpress (ZX2), connecting Central China to the US West Coast.

ZX2 will commence operations on July 3, 2024, and will offer the industry's fastest transit time 13 days from Ningbo to Los Angeles. This premium service offers unparalleled customer experience including:

• Dedicated berths at origin and destination ports for seamless arrival and departure.

• All expedited import containers discharged to ZIM-dedicated chassis for expedited delivery.

• Efficient rail connections for swift inland distribution within the US.

• Streamlined import process with no appointment required for expedited cargo pickup.

• Dedicated lane for import pick-up, eliminating queues.

In addition, ZIM's well-established ZEX premium service will now call Cai Mep, Vietnam, starting ZIM FALCON, ETA Cai Mep July 16, 2024. The new ZEX rotation will be:

Cai Mep – Yantian – Los Angeles – Cai Mep
