ZIM is launching 2nd China-to-Australia Express line (C2A)

ZIM is going ahead with the 2nd Express service from China to Australia by splitting the CAX service into 2 loops.

The previous service, named China Australia Express (CAX), will change to offer 12-day transit time from Shanghai to Sydney – one of the fastest in the market – along with additional advantages and superb customer service.

The new rotation will be: Xiamen – Ningbo – Shanghai – Sydney – Melbourne – Brisbane.

The 2nd China-Australia service,C2A , planned to commence on 4th Dec., will have the following rotation:

Laemchabang – Hochiminh – Nansha – Yantian – Sydney – Melbourne – Brisbane – Laemchabang.

The new service will offer 11-day transit time from Yantian to Sydney for our growing E-commerce customers.

The service will deploy 6X2500 TEU vessels with extensive capacity and plugs for refrigerated cargo. A fleet of new, advanced reefer units fitted with the ZIMonitor system for constant monitoring and damage prevention will be available to customers on the new service.
