Yang Ming enhances JKX Service with Haiphong Extension

Feb 10, 2025

Yang Ming Marine Transport Corporation ("Yang Ming") will further optimize its intra-Asia service network by enhancing its Japan (Kansai) – Taiwan – South China route (Japan Kansai Express, JKX), starting in early March 2025. The route will be extended to Haiphong, Vietnam to meet the country’s growing market demand. This extension aims to strengthen Yang Ming's competitive position in Southeast Asia, capitalize on the opportunities in the region’s emerging economies, and drive business growth in the intra-Asia Market, offering customers broader, more reliable, and more efficient transport services.

The enhanced JKX service will offer a 21-day round voyage with a fixed weekly sailing schedule. The port rotation of JKX service is as follows:
Osaka – Kobe – Keelung – Kaohsiung – Nansha – Shekou – Haiphong – Hong Kong – Shekou – Osaka.

Yang Ming remains committed to providing customers with a wider range of solutions and efficient transport services. For more information, please visit Yang Ming’s official website at www.yangming.com.
