XLP member, Octagon Freight moves 13 special pieces of equipment from the United Arab Emirates to Israel

Mar 23, 2023

XLP member, Octagon Freight successfully moved a total of 13 special pieces of equipment - 40ft flat racks and OOG (Out of gauge cargo) from the United Arab Emirates to Israel.

Port of Loading: Port of Jebel Ali, the United Arab Emirates

Port of Discharge: Port Ashdod, Israel

The move had its challenges as following:

• Project cargo / Filtration system and parts.

• SOW – receiving cargo on trucks, offloading, and loading / securing special equipment.

• Cargo dimensions were not the same as per the packing list and getting acceptance from the carrier for revised dimensions was a challenge.
