WSI | Kase expands fulfillment network with new state-of-the-art facility in Dallas – Fort Worth region

Oct 02, 2025

Kase and WSI (Warehouse Specialists, LLC) have announced the opening of a new 182,000-square-foot fulfillment center east of Dallas – Fort Worth, in Sunnyvale, Texas, strategically designed to support both fast-growing omnichannel operations and traditional distribution.

The expansion comes at a pivotal time as customer demand continues to rise in the greater Dallas-Fort Worth region. WSI has long operated a large, rail-served facility on Jupiter Road focused on traditional paper and bulk storage. With that location reaching capacity, Kase, WSI's tech-forward fulfillment arm, made the decision to invest in a purpose-built fulfillment space to meet the needs of both established and emerging consumer brands.

"Sunnyvale gives us the ability to design a fulfillment-first layout from the ground up," said Mike Venditti, Vice President of Fulfillment at WSI | Kase. "By dedicating this facility to ecommerce and omnichannel customers, we can create more efficient workflows, leverage technology for real-time visibility, and better serve the diverse businesses that are scaling in Texas and beyond."

Designed for Efficiency, Flexibility, and Growth

The 182,369 sq. ft. building features 36-foot clear heights, 26 truck doors, and 39 trailer parking spots, offering the scalability to handle seasonal and unexpected surges in demand. With an optimized racking design developed by WSI's engineering team, the facility maximizes throughput and minimizes travel paths for faster, more accurate fulfillment.

The site supports ambient, temperature-controlled, and food-grade storage environments, and is fully staffed with teams trained in chemical and hazardous materials compliance. The building was designed to accommodate a wide range of industries, from food and beverage, apparel, and consumer products to chemicals, electronics, and paper.

Enhanced Connectivity and Cost-Effective Distribution

Located just 11 miles from WSI's Jupiter Road facility, the Sunnyvale fulfillment site offers direct access to major highways (I-20, I-30, I-635, US-80, and I-45), providing cost-effective regional and national distribution. It is also positioned near the CPKC Zacha Transload Terminal (11 miles northeast) and the UP-Intermodal Facility (20 miles southwest), connecting customers to rail and parcel networks.

With RF scanning, Kase's cloud-based WMS, and app-enabled visibility tools, customers benefit from seamless integration and real-time inventory management.

Sustainability and Value-Added Services

The facility utilizes post-recycled packaging materials to remain consistent with WSI's commitment to corporate social responsibility and offers a variety of value-added services such as kitting, labeling, and custom packaging. Customers can scale with confidence knowing the space is optimized for both long-term efficiency and seasonal flexibility.

"This expansion strengthens our national network by splitting traditional and fulfillment-focused operations, while opening more capacity for rail-served customers," added Peter David, Senior Vice President of Commercial Operations at WSI | Kase. "It's the best of both worlds for our customers."

Facility Availability

Several customers are already onboarding in Sunnyvale, with space still available for additional brands seeking a proven partner in omnichannel fulfillment and distribution.
