WorldACD: Trends for the past 5 weeks (wk 42)

WorldACD's latest views on air cargo market developments, covering each of the last 5 weeks up till Sunday 24 October.

In week 42, worldwide volume increased by +1% compared with previous week. Worldwide capacity increased by +1% week-over-week.

On a regional level, volumes from Asia Pacific did best with a volume increase of +5% week-over-week. Volumes from Africa, Europe and North America decreased slightly (-1%) compared to previous week.

The average worldwide yield/rate in week 42 increased compared with week 41.
