WorldACD: Trends for the past 5 weeks (wk 40)

WorldACD's latest views on air cargo market developments, covering each of the last 5 weeks up till Sunday 10 October.

In week 40, worldwide volume decreased by -6% compared with previous week. Worldwide capacity decreased by -1% week-over-week.

On a regional level, volumes from Africa did best with a volume increase of +2% week-over-week, while Asia Pacific experienced the largest decrease (-10%).

The average worldwide yield/rate in week 40 remained stable compared with week 39.
