WorldACD: Trends for the past 5 weeks (wk 25)

WorldACD's latest views on air cargo market developments, covering each of the last 5 weeks up till Sunday 26 June.

In week 25 (June 20 - 26), worldwide chargeable weight decreased by -2% compared with the week before, and the average worldwide rate increased slightly.

The last two weeks showed an increase in capacity of +1% compared with the preceding two weeks. For worldwide chargeable weight the 2Wo2W change was +1% and rates decreased with -2%. 

In particular, rates from North America to Asia Pacific and vice versa went down in the last two weeks, by resp. -8% and -6%.

Compared with last year, the last two weeks showed a worldwide weight decline of -9% and a rate increase of +18%.
