WorldACD: Trends for the past 5 weeks (wk 19)

In week 19 (May 9-15), worldwide chargeable weight increased 8% compared with the week before, and the average worldwide rate increased to US$ 4.03.

The last two weeks showed a decrease in capacity of -1% compared with the preceding two weeks. For worldwide chargeable weight the 2Wo2W change was -8% and rates decreased with -1%.

Especially rates from North America to Central & South America, and from Central & South America and Africa to Europe have gone up in the last two weeks, with resp. by +5%, +4% and +4%.

Compared with last year, the last two weeks showed a worldwide weight decline of -10% and a rate increase of +18%.
