WorldACD: Trends for the past 5 weeks (wk 18)

WordlACD's latest views on air cargo market developments, covering each of the last 5 weeks up till Sunday 9 May.

In week 18, worldwide volume decreased by 10% compared with the previous week. Worldwide capacity decreased by 2%.

All regions experienced a decline in volumes, with the largest drop from Central & South America. Origin Africa did best with a volume decrease of 1%.

The average worldwide yield/rate in week 18 decreased and was at the same level as in week 16.
