Total Cargo Management Expert advances technological transformation for maximizing efficiency in a post-pandemic air cargo supply-chain

World Cargo Solutions (WCS) has signed a multi-year contract with CHAMP Cargosystems for its suite of cargo management applications including Cargospot Airline, Handling, GSA, and Revenue Accounting. The company has also signed for CHAMP’s regulatory compliance services, Traxon Global Customs (TGC) and Traxon Global Security (TGS). WCS has been a CHAMP customer since 2016.

WCS will move its operations onto CHAMP’s powerful Cargospot suite. The Software as a Service solution will provide expanded features and sales offerings, including dynamic pricing, booking, and revenue accounting to maximize capacity and streamline operations. This will allow WCS’s customers to benefit from, among others, an enhanced and streamlined booking experience.

“With new technologies and processes, we are better able to meet our airline customers’ needs and create stronger connectivity within our global network,” says Christian Weidener, Director Network at World Cargo Solutions. “With more control of our pricing, and cargo management, we are able to expand our capacities and our revenue. We are delighted to meet the needs of the post-pandemic world.”

Furthermore, with Traxon Global Customs and Traxon Global Security, WCS will benefit from regulatory compliance to over 60 regulatory authorities worldwide.

“It is an honor that WCS has chosen CHAMP technologies for its operations” says David Linford, Director, Sales & Account Management at CHAMP Cargosystems. “Our cargo management applications not only help serve WCS internally, but also its customers through easier booking, shipment management, and competitive pricing.”
