Women In Trucking Association announces continued Gold Sponsorship with J.B. Hunt Transport Services

The Women In Trucking Association (WIT) announced today that J.B. Hunt Transport Services, Inc. has renewed its Gold Level sponsorship furthering the mission of the nonprofit association to bring gender diversity to the transportation and logistics industry.

Since 2015, the company has supported WIT at the Gold Level. In addition to providing financial support, the company actively participates in the association. Jennifer Plumlee, vice president of transportation, serves on the WIT board of directors and is the WIT board liason on the Women In Trucking Foundation board of directors. Jodi Edwards, a two million mile driver for J.B. Hunt and 2024 WIT Driver of the Year, shares her expertise as a member of the WIT Image Team.

“Women are essential to the transportation industry and provide diverse perspectives and insights that will shape its future,” said Plumlee. “We are proud to continue our support for Women in Trucking as they champion female voices and pave the way for future female leaders in the industry.”
