Wialon, a global fleet telematics and IoT software platform, and Teltonika, the #1 GPS device manufacturer in the Wialon ecosystem for four years running, have reached a major milestone: 1 million GPS devices manufactured by Teltonika deployed on the Wialon platform worldwide.
Together, the 1 million vehicles connected by Wialon and Teltonika cover a combined 67 million kilometers every day — more than the total length of all roads on Earth, including unpaved routes. That daily distance requires roughly 10 million liters of fuel. However, smart fleet telematics helps reduce unnecessary mileage and idling by an average of 10%, translating to a saving of approximately 1 million liters of fuel and 2,500 tons of CO₂ emissions every single day — an amount of carbon that would take 100,000 mature trees an entire year to absorb.
Wialon is the flagship telematics and IoT platform developed by software company Gurtam. Over 2,700 channel partners trust Wialon to track and manage more than 4 million vehicles in 160+ countries. Wialon helps businesses of all sizes transform their fleet operations through real-time visibility, automation, and advanced analytics, making them safer, more efficient and more sustainable.

Teltonika is one of the most important GPS and IoT device manufacturers in Europe and worldwide, with offices in 27 countries, and more than 10,000 channel partners. It manufactures GPS tracking devices for fleet, asset and workforce management across sectors such as logistics, agriculture, car sharing, construction and more.
The two companies began their partnership in June 2008, when Teltonika’s GH1201, FM4100 and Teltonika FM3101 went live using Wialon software. This week, Wialon software and Teltonika devices reached 1 million installations, with the most frequent use cases in sectors like cargo/long-haul transportation, cold chain logistics, fuel management and car sharing.
Wialon software and Teltonika devices have helped bring to life connected fleet projects around the world, for instance:
Helped Spanish postal service Correos to upgrade tracking and fleet management for its 600+ vehicles, covering mail and parcel deliveries nationwide and internationally;
Enabled last-mile delivery optimization, fuel control, temperature and humidity control, driver and vehicle allocation etc. for Transcorp International, a leading provider of cold chain IoT solutions across the UAE, handling over 15,000 deliveries per day for companies such as Amazon and Carrefour;
Powered smart city infrastructure by digitalizing Belgrade’s fleet of over 500 utility vehicles.
Teltonika Telematics has been the GPS manufacturer with the highest number of installed devices for Wialon for 4 years running. More than 100 Teltonika models are integrated with Wialon, a collaboration that confirms the Lithuanian manufacturer's position at the forefront of the telematics hardware market.
“Wialon is a hardware-agnostic software platform, which means it doesn’t lock partners into specific devices. Instead, it supports more than 4,100 models from over 700 manufacturers, giving service providers and fleet owners the freedom to choose the hardware that best fits their projects. Teltonika has consistently been one of the most popular manufacturers of tracking devices, preferred and chosen by channel partners and by fleet owners across the world. We are incredibly proud of our enduring partnership, joint innovation, and parallel stories of global success,” says Aliaksandr Kuushynau, Head of Wialon.
“Every successful partnership is built on one essential foundation: trust. Not only products, not contracts, and not numbers, but the confidence that both sides are committed to creating lasting value together. With Wialon, we share the same long-term vision: to support companies with reliable technology, strong expertise, and solutions that help them grow. This is not just a hardware milestone, it means 1 million ways in which technology helps remove complexity, improve efficiency, and solve everyday challenges for our business partners around the world,“ says Darius Mališauskas, CEO of Teltonika Telematics.
