The European tech partnership powering global fleets: Telematics giants Wialon and Teltonika connect 1 millionth vehicle worldwide

Wialon, a global fleet telematics and IoT software platform, and Teltonika, the #1 GPS device manufacturer in the Wialon ecosystem for four years running, have reached a major milestone: 1 million GPS devices manufactured by Teltonika deployed on the Wialon platform worldwide.

Together, the 1 million vehicles connected by Wialon and Teltonika cover a combined 67 million kilometers every day — more than the total length of all roads on Earth, including unpaved routes. That daily distance requires roughly 10 million liters of fuel. However, smart fleet telematics helps reduce unnecessary mileage and idling by an average of 10%, translating to a saving of approximately 1 million liters of fuel and 2,500 tons of CO₂ emissions every single day — an amount of carbon that would take 100,000 mature trees an entire year to absorb.

Wialon is the flagship telematics and IoT platform developed by software company Gurtam. Over 2,700 channel partners trust Wialon to track and manage more than 4 million vehicles in 160+ countries.
