VivaTech 2026 - Demonstrations, use cases and tangible innovations: CMA CGM deploys its artificial intelligence strategy

Driven by its Chairman and Chief Executive Officer Rodolphe Saadé, the CMA CGM Group, a global player in sea, land, air and logistics solutions, places artificial intelligence and innovation at the heart of its strategy. After several years of investment, development and experimentation, AI is now being deployed at scale across the Group’s shipping, logistics and media activities to improve operations, enhance customer service and support employees in their day-to-day work.

Discover the CMA CGM Group booth (Hall 7 – Booth 2F29)

The Fleet Center, a vessel management and navigation support center: Visitors will be able to discover a replica of the Fleet Center and learn how this vessel management and navigation support center assists CMA CGM fleet operations around the world.

The Group’s teams will showcase several technologies designed to improve maritime operations, including the Digital Twins of the CMA CGM JACQUES SAADE vessel and the FMS terminal in Los Angeles. These digital models make it possible to test different operating scenarios in order to optimize performance and decision-making.

Visitors will also have the opportunity to take control of a navigation simulator installed at the booth.

A humanoid robot at the booth: Developed by UBTECH and presented in partnership with Capgemini, this humanoid robot will provide a concrete illustration of technologies that are already transforming logistics operations.

CMA CGM launches the 2026 Startup Awards

On Wednesday, 17 June, the CMA CGM Group will launch the third edition of the CMA CGM Startup Awards, its program dedicated to identifying and supporting the most innovative startups in the shipping, logistics and media sectors. Selected candidates will benefit from support from ZEBOX, opportunities to develop collaborations with the Group’s business units or its Foundation, and the chance to compete for funding of up to €50,000. Finalists will gather in Marseille in September 2026 during Artificial Intelligence Marseille (AIM), where the winners will be announced.

AI powering operations

Artificial intelligence is now deployed at scale across the CMA CGM Group’s shipping, logistics and media activities. The booth will showcase concrete solutions developed to support employees, enhance the customer experience and optimize operations.

Shipping

Visitors will discover how artificial intelligence is being used in shipping to streamline customer interactions, improve visibility across supply chains and optimize operations:

  • Creating AI assistants capable of understanding transportation and logistics activities and acting directly within the Group’s tools with MAIA, powered by Mistral.
  • Accelerating the processes required for cargo release through Smart Cargo Release, developed with Mistral AI.
  • Supporting sales teams in real time to provide faster and more efficient customer service through EVA by HappyRobot, a next-generation conversational agent.

Logistics

Visitors will also discover several solutions developed by CEVA Logistics to optimize operations, strengthen decision-making and enhance the customer experience through artificial intelligence:

  • Adapting warehouse staffing levels to actual activity in order to improve productivity and service quality through Forecast & Adapt, a solution based on operational data analysis.
  • Helping customers select the most efficient logistics solutions by balancing cost, delivery time and environmental impact through Sustainable Network Optimization.
  • Supporting customers throughout their journey by providing faster access to information and online services through AI agents integrated into the myCEVA digital ecosystem.

Media

The booth will also highlight several practical applications developed by the Group’s media businesses to enrich audience experiences, support editorial teams and explore new content formats:

  • Providing audiences with simpler, faster and more personalized access to information through the BFM Assistant, a conversational agent designed to enhance the user experience.
  • Helping journalists verify information and published content more quickly through fact-checking tools.
  • Identifying emerging topics and online conversations in real time through Brut Radar, a social trend analysis and detection tool.
  • Exploring new ways to listen to and consume information through RMC BFM Drive, an experiment in innovative audio formats.
  • Automatically transforming written articles into audio content tailored to different user needs through MAX (Media Audio Experience), a personalized audio content generation solution.

Seven startups imagining the jobs of tomorrow (Hall 7 – Booth 2F29)
