Used VEHICLES Title Verification Announcement

Effective April 17^th, 2023

MSC would like to inform you about the following change in the policy of exporting used vehicles from all USA ports of load except for Long Beach, Los Angeles, Miami, and Port Everglades where policy will remain as currently is.

Effective April 17^th, 2023, we will no longer require a copy of the validated titles for shipments with used vehicles and will load cargo to the vessel unless advised otherwise by shipper or U.S. CBP.

Shippers shall be solely responsible to be in compliance with U.S. CBP regulatory requirements for export and should there be any compliance related issues, the shipper will be liable for all costs and penalties, including but not limited to shifting, drayage, detention, demurrage, and return ocean freight charges if applicable.
