Update on MSC’s transAtlantic network seasonal blanking program

Sep 29, 2020

To continue MSC’s prudent approach to capacity management during the COVID-19 crisis it intends to prolong its transatlantic network seasonal blank sailing program, in line with market demand across Europe and the USA.

The temporary suspension of MSC’s NEUATL4 service will be extended until the end of 2020, resulting in the blanking of all voyages on this service up to and including voyage 052W which was scheduled to depart Antwerp on 21 December.

Shippers may continue to place bookings with limited disruption as MSC is arranging contingency plans with alternative services for transatlantic cargoes.
