UniGroup and TMM announce new strategic alliance

UniGroup, the parent company of United Van Lines and Mayflower Transit, and Total Military Management (TMM) have formed a strategic alliance, bringing together TMM's expertise in military move management and UniGroup's position as the nation's largest household goods moving company.

The newly formed strategic alliance represents a significant transportation industry partnership between two recognized leaders who provide high-quality move experiences for our service members and their families. While UniGroup and TMM have maintained a long-standing business relationship, this alliance delivers substantial network volume to United Van Lines and Mayflower Transit and provides increased capacity to TMM.

TMM is based in Jacksonville, Florida, and was founded with a specific focus on enabling Department of Defense-qualified transportation service providers to better serve the military marketplace. The new alliance includes UniGroup transitioning the move management aspect of its domestic military shipments to TMM, which allows UniGroup’s expert member network to focus on providing seamless on-site move services and transportation of goods.
