U.S. hardwood tariff exemptions to be extended

NHLA announced that they have confirmation from the American Hardwood Export Council that the tariff exemptions that were set to expire on September 17, 2021 have been extended through April 16, 2022. The initial confirmation of the extensions was confirmed through the USDA’s Foreign Agricultural Service office in Beijing and they are currently working on an official translated version of the statement.
