Trucker Path offers live updates and crowdsourcing capabilities

May 25, 2021

Trucker Path, the most comprehensive and fastest growing mobile app for North American truckers, announced today several recent enhancements focused on providing real time information for the steadily expanding community of truck drivers using its online platform.

Live features launched recently for the Trucker Path mobile app include:

· Enhanced real time and crowdsourced driver insights for shipping and receiving facilities, showing the exact truck entrance, and information on overnight parking, check-in processes, wait-times, and hours of operation

· The ability for drivers to report road incidents caused by construction, accidents, police activity and inspections so drivers can forecast potential transit delays

· Improved processes for sharing feedback on places-of-interest, including images, parking conditions, food offerings recommendations, available services and amenities

· Weather alerts with map overlays and rerouting options

· Enhanced search functions by amenities, names, addresses and specific locations

“Over the past month, we have enabled a wide range of live features and crowdsourcing capabilities in the Trucker Path mobile app,” said Steven Lopez, vice president of business development for Trucker Path. “By providing real time information, drivers can navigate around weather related and road incident delays, and more easily access available parking and find the best fuel prices. Improved search, review and other enhancements for our growing community of truck drivers lead to safer, more satisfying and smarter trips.”
