Truck-Lite launches new U.S.-made LED marker & clearance lights

Nov 18, 2025

Truck-Lite’s new 34 Series 1.25-inch round LED marker and clearance lights for the specialty trailer market, introduced at TMC’s 2025 Annual Meeting & Transportation Technology Exhibition, are now widely available for OE trailers manufactured in North America as well as for the replacement market.

The new 34 Series lights are designed and built exclusively in three state-of-the-art facilities across Pennsylvania. Truck-Lite’s domestic operations ensure a smooth and dependable process for delivering products to customers, minimizing unexpected disruptions or delays, so they can trust that they will receive their ordered products as expected.

The 34 Series lights feature a superior homogeneous glow output design that requires no specialized installation. Without sacrificing time or performance, the 34 Series lights consistently produce uniform output, regardless of the viewing angle. They carry Truck-Lite’s industry-leading lifetime warranty.

Jon Stineman, President of Truck-Lite, commented, “The 34 Series LED marker and clearance lights are the latest innovation from Truck-Lite. Our reputation is to introduce the highest-quality, most advanced products to the commercial vehicle industry, and Truck-Lite’s industry-leading life-time warranty speaks to how confident we are in our customers’ satisfaction.

“Truck-Lite three-wire products provide auxiliary stop functions, providing the best high-to-low ratio in light output across the industry. This feature is more critical than most people understand. Truck-Lite’s high-to-low ratio allows trailing drivers to recognize the stop function when illuminated more easily than competitive products offering a lower ratio. Stopping distance is a critical safety measure, and we are doing everything possible to help drivers visually recognize when the trailer is stopping ahead.”

Other benefits of the 34 Series lights for the specialty trailer market, including tanker and vocational applications, are:

  • Produced in the U.S.
  • Sleek and Modern Design: The new LED Marker & Clearance Light showcases a sophisticated, modern aesthetic that enhances any trailer's appearance. The convenient size and larger diameter facilitate effortless installation and wiring.
  • Best in Class Thermal Design Management: Ensures Truck-Lite LEDs last their lifetime. With seventy years of design and manufacturing experience, Truck-Lite understands failure modes better than the competition. Truck-Lite lights are built to last.
  • Unmatched Durability: The polycarbonate lens is 30 times more resilient to impact than acrylic, ensuring unparalleled durability and longevity in heavy-duty applications.
  • Advanced Circuit Protection: The internal circuitry is fully encapsulated in epoxy, providing exceptional protection against corrosion, water, and vibration. Many other lighting products in the industry are no longer fully encapsulated, having eliminated epoxy or urethane in new designs. Truck-Lite still meets its original standard, which is why Truck-Lite lamps last longer.
  • PC Rated Legal Lamp: This innovative PC rated lamp meets the 180-degree visibility requirement with just one lamp instead of two, streamlining compliance and installation.
  • Effortless Retrofit Design: The hardwired design simplifies retrofitting, operating efficiently on 12V with a single diode for optimal power usage.
  • Clear Lens Option: The 34 series lights, available in red and yellow, are single or dual function, and feature a clear lens option that integrates into the trailer discreetly for a more distinctive look.

Truck-Lite 34 Series lights are available for specification on any U.S.-manufactured specialty trailer and distributed through Truck-Lite’s extensive and strategic network of parts distributors.

This latest product innovation from Truck-Lite is a prime example of the company’s commitment to delivering high-quality, reliable, and innovative solutions to the commercial transportation market.
