Tirehub opens new Tirehub logistics center in Atlanta

Kennesaw distribution warehouse to strengthen presence in Southeast U.S.

TireHub, the national tire distributor cofounded by Bridgestone Americas Inc. (Bridgestone) and The Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company (Goodyear), today announced the opening of its new TireHub Logistics Center (TLC) in Kennesaw, GA. 

Relocated from Lawrenceville to Chastain Road in Kennesaw, the opening of the Kennesaw TLC increases TireHub’s delivery radius in the Atlanta metropolitan area. The relocation to Kennesaw will strengthen TireHub’s offerings in West Atlanta and surrounding areas, while the Norcross and Chattanooga TLCs will continue to take care of customers in North Georgia. 

“As we expanded our operations over the past three years, our primary focus has always been on the needs of our dealers and their customers,” said Sylvia Wilks, vice president, operations. “With close proximity to the Interstate 75 corridor, our Kennesaw location will benefit our customers by providing them with speedier delivery cadences, increased efficiency and better overall customer service.”

As part of TireHub’s busiest region, Kennesaw will support TireHub’s growth in the Southeast.  TheKennesaw location will hold 65,000 tires and employ 20 Logistics Specialists. 

TireHub launched in July 2018 and operates 71 logistics centers in the U.S. offering full passenger and light truck tire product lines from the Goodyear and Bridgestone companies, including Bridgestone, Goodyear, Dunlop, Firestone, Fuzion, Kelly and LeMans, in addition to Toyo, as well as Goodyear and Kelly commercial tires. In three full years of operations, TireHub opened five TLCs in new markets – Columbia, Suffolk, Lakeville, Fort Myers and West Palm Beach – and in existing markets, the company relocated nine TLCs in San Diego, Houston, Arlington, Baton Rouge, Austin, Knoxville, Mobile, Las Vegas and Sacramento
