The Swedish Club announced that it is strengthening its management team to match the pace of its strategic ambitions and to ensure it is well-prepared for the future. Effective 1 January 2026, three senior appointments will join the Club's Management Team:

  • Fredrik Bergqvist – Director Commercial
  • Pauline Hermansson – Director Strategy & Innovation
  • Caroline Pennings – Director Communications & Sustainability

The expansion reflects The Swedish Club’s commitment to building leadership capacity in the areas most vital to its future success: commercial performance, strategic foresight, reputation and sustainability.

Supporting growth and innovation

The new positions are designed to help the Club scale while maintaining its strong member focus. By bringing in leaders across commercial growth, corporate strategy and innovation, and strategic communications and sustainability, the Club aims to seize new business opportunities, sharpen its direction, and embed sustainability as a core driver of resilience — all while safeguarding value, building trust and bolstering its reputation.

Thomas Nordberg, Managing Director of The Swedish Club, said “We are entering an exciting new chapter. To continue delivering value to our members while seizing new opportunities, we need a management structure that is both robust and forward-focused. These new appointments strengthen our ability to innovate, to tell our story, and to connect with members and partners around the world.”
