TGP appoints Igor Muñiz as Chief Strategy Officer

one hour ago

Trans Global Projects (TGP) appoints Igor Muñiz as Chief Strategy Officer, Global Accounts & South Europe, and establishes a presence in Spain. The move strengthens coverage in Southern Europe and supports the company’s global work in energy-related projects.

Igor joins with more than 25 years of experience in project logistics. He has led regional and global teams and delivered transport solutions across multiple markets.

In his role, Igor takes responsibility for global accounts and leads activities across Southern Europe and the Americas, as well as the Middle East. His focus includes the development and delivery of key client programs, with particular attention to large-scale energy projects.

The new presence in Spain adds local access to an active energy market and strengthens links with clients, suppliers and project stakeholders in Southern Europe. It also supports coordination across regions where clients manage projects in parallel.

The combined step of appointing a dedicated strategy lead and expanding the regional footprint supports a more structured approach to global accounts. It brings earlier input into project planning, clearer ownership across regions and more consistent delivery standards.

For clients, this means closer support at an early stage, which helps reduce risk and avoids late changes. A single point of responsibility improves coordination across regions and simplifies communication. Local presence adds day-to-day access to project stakeholders where execution takes place.

Colin Charnock, Group Chief Executive Officer, Trans Global Projects, says: “Igor brings strong experience in project logistics and in supporting energy-related projects across regions. He understands how to structure and deliver complex programs with clear ownership. This strengthens our global accounts approach and supports clients who operate across several geographical markets.”

Igor Muñiz, Chief Strategy Officer - Global Accounts & South Europe, Trans Global Projects, adds: “Many energy projects now run across regions and require close coordination from the start. Clients need a clear structure and consistent delivery. TGP has the capability to support this, and I look forward to working with the team to strengthen our global accounts approach and support clients across markets.”
