Tempory port rotation changes on Liberty & America Services

Dec 16, 2021

Due to the congestion issues in US East Coast ports impacting schedule reliability and causing delays to shipments, MSC has decided to combine the calls at Savannah and New York for its Liberty and America services as from mid-January until further notice to provide better schedule reliability.

Consequently, we will omit Savannah on our Liberty service and Savannah cargo will be loaded on our America service. While we will omit New York on our America service and New York cargo will be transported on Liberty service.

The updated port rotations for the two services are as follows:
First sailings with the revised rotations:

  • Liberty service: Vung Tau – Yantian – Panama – Charleston – New York – Tanjung Pelepas
  • America service: Hong Kong – Nansha – Yantian - Vung Tau – Singapore – Savannah – Miami – Freeport – Tanjung Pelepas
