Swiss WorldCargo resumes flights to Los Angeles and Cairo, increases San Francisco frequencies

Jun 22, 2021

Swiss WorldCargo will re-start serving Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) three times weekly on 2 July. Likewise, we will increase frequencies to San Francisco (SFO) from two to three-times weekly, thus increasing our total number of flights between Zurich and California to a total of six per week. Both flights are operated with a Boeing 777-300ER and connect with our expansive road feeder network in the Southwest and Pacific Northwest regions.

The schedule for our flights can be found below (all times local):

ZRH-LAX: Operated on Days 1,5 and 7 12.55-16.05

LAX-ZRH: Operated on Days 1,5 and 7 19.20-15.15 (+1)

ZRH-SFO: Operated on Days 2,4 and 6 13.00-15.50

SFO-ZRH: Operated on Days 2,4 and 6 19.55-15.45 (+1)

In addition to this expansion on the US West Coast, we will also restart flights between Zurich and Cairo (CAI). We will serve the Egyptian capital 4 times per week, with one of these flights operated by wide-body aircraft (Airbus A330-300).
