Swiss WorldCargo makes modifications to its network in response to the coronavirus

Following the recent guidelines by the US authorities Swiss WorldCargo has adjusted our operations to the United States accordingly. Swiss WorldCargo is currently drafting a special flight timetable for the USA. Swiss WorldCargo will continue operating flights to EWR: LX 18/19 and ORD: LX 8/9.

The following flights will be provisionally suspended from 14 March 2020:

  • LX 64/65; LX 66/67: MIA
  • LX 38/39: SFO
  • LX 40/41: LAX
  • LX 16/17; LX 14/15: LX 22/23: JFK
  • LX 8004: TPA

Additionally, the launch of LX 70/71 to IAD will be delayed to 02 June 2020.

Following the announcement of the Indian Government yesterday, we are also continuing to analyze the effects to our network. We will share updates accordingly and more information will follow.

Further capacity adjustments and reductions are planned on the following flights from 29 March to 24 April 2020:

  • LX 238/239: CAI will be suspended
  • LX 86/87: YUL will be served 6-times weekly

Additional scheduling changes still in effect until 24 April 2020 can be found below:

  • LX 160/161: NRT will be served 5-times weekly
  • LX 176/177: SIN will be served 5-times weekly
  • LX 158/159: KIX will be served 3-times weekly
  • LX 252/253 and LX 256/257: TLV will remain suspended
  • LX 188/189: PVG will remain suspended
  • LX 196/197: PKX will remain suspended
  • LX 138/139: HKG will be served 5-times weekly. We will continue to use the Airbus A340-300 until 24 April 2020.

The Swiss WorldCargo trucking network remains unchanged.

Cancellations are subject to change and further network changes are possible
