Supply Chain Federation becomes newest member of Circulate NJ

Jun 02, 2025

Circulate NJ today announced that the Supply Chain Federation has become the coalition’s newest member. The Supply Chain Federation joins Circulate NJ’s actively expanding list of 40+ member organizations, with representation from all sectors of the logistics industry—which encompasses the Transportation, Logistics and Distribution (TLD) industries that fuel our supply chain—including port workers, warehouses, retail developers, trucking companies, and more.

“The logistics industry – and in turn, New Jersey – cannot thrive without a strong, sustainable supply chain. The knowledge that the Supply Chain Federation brings, both on a local and national scale, makes them a key educational resource. We welcome them to Circulate NJ and hope that industry stakeholders, elected officials and members of the public will utilize their expertise,” said David Greek, Chair of Circulate NJ and Managing Partner of Greek Real Estate Partners.

The Supply Chain Federation is the leading national advocacy group working to secure and strengthen America’s supply chain, uniting business and labor to protect jobs, invest in domestic infrastructure and safeguard the supply chain and economy from global instability. It advocates for regulatory and legislative measures that protect and strengthen the supply chain and against unnecessary and shortsighted policies on the federal, state and local level that make it more difficult to get the goods and services Americans rely on where they need them most.

“We are proud to join Circulate NJ and stand alongside a coalition that truly understands how vital logistics are to the health of local economies and communities. Circulate NJ has been a leader in uniting diverse voices to advocate for sustainable growth, smart infrastructure investment, and job creation. At the Supply Chain Federation, we are excited to contribute our national perspective to this forward-thinking alliance and help ensure New Jersey’s supply chain remains strong, resilient, and inclusive,” said Amanda Blackwood, CEO of the Supply Chain Federation.

The Supply Chain Federation supports policies that: incentivize human jobs at each critical point within the domestic supply chain, from ports, airports, railways and logistic centers; strengthen America’s infrastructure, from building to maintaining roads, bridges, ports and airports across the country and investing in new infrastructure where needed; and incentivize the use of climate friendly technologies that are already developed and available for utilization, as opposed to policies that demand the use of technologies not currently deployable by the businesses and laborers on the frontlines.

Circulate NJ’s wide-ranging coalition members are driving economic growth and success in towns across the state. Data from the New Jersey Department of Labor & Workforce Development shows the numerous benefits the TLD industry provides New Jersey, including:

  • Supporting more than 400,000 jobs
  • Employing 12% of the state’s private work force and providing 12.7% of New Jersey private sector wages
  • Providing an average $75,000 annual industry salary
  • Contributing $62.5 billion, or 10%, to New Jersey’s overall GDP

Circulate NJ’s members have also been leaders in the environmental cleanup of brownfield sites. These hazardous locations often cost millions to rehabilitate and make usable for the public. Circulate NJ’s members have taken the initiative to clean up and reuse these sites across New Jersey, from Jersey City to Lower Alloways Creek and points in between.
