Air Charter Service has announced that Andrew Summers has been appointed to the role of Regional Director for ACS’s Mainland European offices.
Chris Leach, ACS’s Chairman, commented: “We believe that a dedicated focus on the continent is essential to our growth plans – a region that makes up 15% of the global economy. Over the past decade Andrew has been head of our Middle East, Africa and India region, based out of Dubai, and has done a fantastic job in growing our business across that region. We fully believe that he will be able to achieve the same success in Europe and increase our market share on the continent.
“Andrew will be responsible for helping the heads of our operations across Europe and all three divisions – cargo, private jets and group travel – to grow their respective businesses as well as looking into expansion into new markets. As a fluent Russian speaker Andrew will also continue to oversee growth in central Asia through our Kazakhstan office. Andrew has been with ACS for 18 years, starting in London before transferring to the Dubai office in 2014. It will be great to have him home to help bolster our senior management team.”
Summers commented: “I have loved my time in the Middle East, but am thrilled to be returning to the UK headquarters and taking on the European charter market. We have very strong teams across all seven of our offices in mainland Europe, and I’m looking forward to working closely with all of them.”
