Striking the right chord in ‘Music City’: NationaLease recognizes national sales leader at 2024 meeting

NationaLease, one of the largest full-service truck leasing organizations in North America, recently convened its 2024 Sales Meeting and Dedicated Logistics Summit in Nashville, Tennessee. The event brought together industry leaders for three packed days of knowledge sharing, strategic insights, and networking opportunities. A variety of informative topics included AI, enhancing customer engagement, emerging technologies, insurance, and sustainability, among others.

The Dedicated Logistics Summit kicked off with welcoming remarks from Jim Stetz, vice president of Dedicated Contract Carriage at NationaLease. He then led a roundtable discussion on the economic climate, where members shared insights on market trends, challenges, and strategies. Day one speakers also includedChris Fisher, vice president of Operations at Miller Dedicated and Jake Hoffman, chief technology officer at Gnosis Freight.

Day two began with presentations from Evan Shelley, co-founder and CEO of Truck Parking Club, and Doug Roskopf, vice president of Operations at ITU-Absorbtech, before the 2024 NationaLease Sales Meeting officially kicked off in the afternoon with Dean Vicha, president of NationaLease, delivering a President's Address. The afternoon rounded out with insightful sessions led by NationaLease executives from across the organization.

The final day began with a special moment of recognition as Joe Gallick, senior vice president of Sales at NationaLease presented the Gerald Yeomans Award to Dave Glendinning, national account executive, for achieving the #1 National Accounts Sales Achievement in North America for 2023.

Amongst topical panel and breakout sessions, the event closed out with presentations from Mark Shonka, co-CEO of IMPAX Sales Performance, Rich Leibfried, president of RJL Insurance Services, and Mark Jamieson, director of Business Development at Cummins Inc.
