Southeastern Freight Lines, the leading provider of regional less-than-truckload (LTL) transportation services, announced Ken Gordy has been promoted to service center manager in Tri-Cities, Tennessee.
Gordy has more than 30 years of experience at Southeastern, starting his career at the Atlanta service center in Georgia as a part-time freight handler. He has served in various leadership positions during his time with the company, including pickup and delivery driver, frontline leadership and operations manager and, most recently, assistant service center manager in North Atlanta, Georgia.
“Ken’s excellent track record combined with his dedication to fostering a collaborative work environment reflects his natural ability to lead with authenticity, direction and integrity,” said Seth Fetzer, regional vice president of operations for Southeastern Freight Lines. “His experience in the industry and extensive knowledge of our values will be a great addition to the dynamic team in Tri-Cities.”
Gordy, his wife, Crystal, and their two sons are excited to relocate to Tri-Cities, Tennessee, and continue serving the Southeastern team in this new capacity.
