SNIPES relies on Arvato as its new logistics partner

Sep 18, 2025

The internationally operating sneaker and streetwear retailer SNIPES has signed a long-term contract with Arvato. Starting in the second half of 2026, Arvato will take over the entire operational logistics for the retailer’s European online business.

While Arvato will handle the e-commerce operations, the supply of SNIPES stores across Europe will continue to be managed from the retailer’s own distribution center in Wesseling (located south of Cologne) in order to strengthen the location and secure jobs in the long term.

With Arvato, SNIPES gains a strong partner whose Dorsten location – thanks to its proximity to the SNIPES headquarters in Cologne and the existing distribution center in Wesseling – enables efficient operational management of logistics processes and fast delivery times. In addition to its extensive experience in fashion logistics, Arvato also brings state-of-the-art automation technologies that guarantee SNIPES a powerful and optimized service offering.

“The collaboration with Arvato is a strategic step into the future for SNIPES. It allows us to optimally meet the logistical requirements of our e-commerce business and the planned volume growth of the coming years,” explains Simon Bus, company spokesperson at SNIPES.

“We are very pleased with the trust SNIPES has placed in us. With our many years of expertise in fashion logistics, cutting-edge automation solutions, and a dedicated team, we are creating the foundation for highly efficient e-commerce operations. Together, we will make SNIPES’ logistics processes future-proof, paving the way for further growth and a long-term successful partnership,” says Axel Mayer, President Lifestyle Fashion & Sports at Arvato.
