"As a long-time member and supporter of the industry, I'm proud and humbled to be recognized this year with the 2021 Captain of Industry Award," said Skinner. "I have been involved on many levels of the Association for more than 15 years, in charge of imports, education and chaired the annual dinners. Early on, I saw the importance of our Association’s involvement in the NYNJ Port issues and joined the first Port Performance Council working group in 2014. In response to the growing port crisis, I have become even more active in representing our members and customers on the Council."
