Simpson Spence Young expands global partnership with six new appointments

Simpson Spence Young (SSY), the world’s largest independent shipbroker, has today announced the expansion of its partnership with six new additions.

Effective from the 1 January 2023, the partnership has welcomed the following individuals: Toby English (Sale & Purchase – London), Phillip Tripodakis (LNG - London), Robert Boles (Tanker Chartering – London), Eugene Quek (Dry Projects - Singapore), Ahmed El Masry (Dry Cargo Chartering – Singapore), and Jordi Maymi (Chemical Chartering - Singapore), taking the total number of partners to 27.

Speaking on the announcement Stanko Jekov, SSY Managing Partner, comments: “We’re delighted to welcome the new partners to the team in recognition of the substantial contribution they have made to our business. It’s no secret that shipping and shipbroking is changing – it’s entering a very interesting and dynamic phase.
